I just got my surface legitamately 2 weeks ago for my birthday. I downloaded spotify and it was working like a charm for a few days. Then I had to go back to school, an hour away from my house and all of a sudden, spotify doesn't work. I can't play songs on my playlists, I can't play any songs from the search engine, yet the spotify on my surface phone works just fine in every way. I have shut it down, turned it back on, tried everything I can think of. If anyone has ANY suggestions, I am all for them. Thank you.

Please check this thread for a more advanced uninstallation of Spotify.

Do you get any error message when trying to play? What parts of Spotify do work and whic are the ones that don't?

Which troubleshooting steps have you taken until now?

Ok, so I did get an error message. What happens is I click to play a song,
and a blue bar appears at the top and says " Spotify can't play this right
now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it". It says it
on music I've downloaded, from the internet, but only on my surface.

The music you have played are local files?

Could attach a screenshot of the error message?
