The Spotify Desktop App won't Launch Offline

The Spotify desktop app does not launch offline. It just displays "Something went wrong." with a reload button, clicking it does not resolve the issue. Offline mode is ticked. I already scoured through the forums, and nothing, and by that I mean nothing helped! The download feature is useless if you can't even launch it while being offline in the first place...

Have you tried a clean install of Spotify?
