My Question or Issue

I've read through a lot of these threads, the vast majority of the answers I've seen are that the artist likely removed the content, however I don't think that applies to me.

Spotify very recently (<month) became available in Georgia; I switched from buying US Spotify gift cards to my applicable region/country (Georgia), and just now noticed that a lot of songs/albums in my playlist show up greyed out and display a "This content is not available" error message when trying to play them (Desktop). Those songs/albums don't show up at all on my iOS device.

I have a very strong suspicion that the content that's unavailable for me now is due to my region change (I was hoping this wouldn't be the case, re:Netflix and it's region based content availability), considering that all the content that's now unavailable, was available a month ago when I was on the US plan. To add to that, the unavailable content seems to be mostly random, vs. a singular album by a particular artist that they might have actually taken down.

See the attached images for reference: Desktop: Album shows up, but only two songs are playable; iOS: The album's nowhere to be seen, at all.

I'm kinda just looking for a confirmation that this is region related, in which case I'll just go back to the US plan.

Thanks!

Hello @vkochladze

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to provide a reason why specific content in not available for you, but I can confirm that availability is based on your region as well.

That's most likely why you don't see some songs now that you changed the country associated with your subscription.

Thanks @Emilia_8!

Waaait, how do you mention someone in the comments? I figured @<username> would suffice.

Hi @vkochladze!

Thank you for accepting my answer as solution!

If it comes to mentions, they're available for Community members that are part of the Spotify Star Program and have gained the sufficient permissions.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, so if I understand this correctly -- regular members can't tag/mention users?

Yes, that's right @vkochladze

The option to mention others is not available for regular members.
