Unable to hear Spotify with headphones on Windows 10

My Question or Issue

When I click play the music starts but I don't hear anything. It works perfectly fine without headphones but nothing comes through the headphones. I tried setting the headphones as the default sound device in windows 10 as well to no avail. It's not the headset as I've tried several

Thanks for reaching out about this.

Could you try muting and unmuting the Spotify app through the speaker icon in the Taskbar:

1. Right-click on speaker icon
2. Select Open Volume Mixer
3. Mute and unmute Spotify

4. Restart Spotify and try playing something.

We also recommend you check if your sound drivers are up to date. Also, make sure there are no pending updates for your graphics card, as those might also interfere with the playback devices.
