Unable to navigate with shortcuts Alt+left arrow and ALT+right arrow

Unable to navigate with shortcuts Alt+left arrow and ALT+right arrow after latest desktop app release on W10. I read that this error keeps coming back to Spotify and I've found topics on this from many years back. Obviously something Spotify can't seem to fix. It worked for a good two years but now it's not. None of the suggested workarounds from older posts works for me.

Yup.  Without hotkeys that I can assign to my mouse buttons, I have to find where they put the clunky little back button.  It's pretty experience-ruining.

Could you confirm if the hotkeys are still not working after running a clean reinstall of the desktop app? This will remove corrupted data from previous installations that could be causing the issue. 

 

If you see no difference after the clean reinstall, check your hosts file for entries that need to be deleted. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that.
