Unable to play songs and friend list not showing fully

My Question or Issue

My spotify app can't play songs, even when downloaded. It will show a message "Spotify is unable to play this song right now." And it happens when I try to play any song. My friend list is also not fully showing, I usually have 6 friends in the list, but it is only showing 3 of them right now. I have tried uninstalling the application and restarting my laptop, but it still does not work.
