Username is a bunch of random characters

Please spotify, fix this.. 
I have chosen a username (had even to take a new one because I already had one and now I can't get my original one, great!) as suggested in another thread, and it didn't help of course

In the Desktop App and on Web my username is a bunch of random characters..

I had this issue on and off for 2 years now and Support couldn't help me.. 
When I didn''t see it on desktop or mobile anymore (only Web), I left it.

But now it's back on the Desktop and it's f*cking annoying.
