My Question or Issue

My UI, especially when switching songs are too slow. I am literally waiting 3-4 or more seconds for new song name to show up properly. This behaviour began 2-3 weeks ago. 

I tried Windows 10 app from Microsoft Store and also normal app from Spotify web site itself.

I also reformatted my whole drive and reinstalled Windows 10.

I have 1 Gbit internet connection via ethernet. I am not using wifi for PC.

Would it be possible for you to try your account on a different network / WiFi connection ?

This is a good indication for me if that's an account based issue or other ones.

Hello

 

I disabled my ethernet connection, enabled wifi on PC, used my mobile as hotspot, skipped around 10-12 songs. Same problem persists.

 

Also my current Spotify version is 1.1.18.611.g9cc9bdc9

thanks for the quick update !

 

Please check out this storage information page.

It contains some steps the might help "shake" things up on your app.

 

In addition, i would consider performing a clean reinstall of the app as it tends to help and solve many issues like this one.

Note: if you reinstall the app you'll have to redownload all offline content you had.

Hello

 

It is installed on my Samsung 970 Pro m2 disk and I have 530 GB free space. I tried both Windows Store version and normal version. Web player seems more responsive compared to desktop version.

Any updates or ideas? Spotify for Windows 10 is still not usable.

I am cancelling my sub. I will continue with Apple Music.
