Video podcast won't play on windows 11 desktop

My Question or Issue

One particular podcasts videos won't play and I can't listen to them at all unless I download them, it only happens on this one podcast and only on PC, it works on my phone.

 

The podcast is called "Fozcast - The Ben Foster Podcast"

Does this happen only with a particular episode or with all the episodes from the podcast?

 

It's also important to check if this happens only on one device or on multiple desktop devices. Also check a different account for the same behavior. You can create a new one or ask a friend to check it.

 

We'd also need a link to an episode as an example so we can further investigate.

I'm also having some issues listening to podcasts with video. It only happens on the desktop app. I tested on my mobile device and it works just fine.

If you're seeing this error message, it's best to check your hosts file for any entries containing "Spotify" using this guide (link for Windows/for Mac).
