What happened to my audio controls on the cute Windows 7 popup on the menu bar?!?!?

This is how I get away with enjoing Spotify and working in the office.  I can have a screen open other than Spotify (Work Related,  HELLO!) and skip through my tracks or stop and start with out making a big todo about it.  Please bring it back!  (or at least show me where I can get the old version of Spotify that worked just fine).  Seriously, if it ain't broke... IJS!

They are still here, but sometimes it seems to be bugged. At least it's listed as bug here.

Normally a simple restart of Spotify brings them back for me. 😉
