What happened to the repeat controls?

What the f*** was Spotify thinking? Restore the repeat controls now.

Inexplicable. Stupid. Upsetting.

Hey @MadMinstrel!

It looks like you're playing Radio or Daily Mix. Could you try to play a playlist or album? Does Repeat show up then? Let me know! 🙂

Have a great day!

Hey @MadMinstrel! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Hmm, Repeat controls are still available here. Could you send over a screenshot of what you're seeing? Also, what Spotify, OS and device versions are you using? Let me know! 🙂

Sure. I'm running the desktop Spotify app on Windows 10, on PC.

As you can see, no repeat controls in sight. Instead there's the useless thumbs up/down controls.

Yeah, playing a song from the playlist restores the controls.

I wasn't listening to the radio, I was playing a playlist and it finished. And then Spotify inexplicably started playing songs I didn't ask for. Which is why I started looking for the repeat controls.

Thanks for your help. This just proves why contextual controls are such a horrible idea.

Hey @MadMinstrel!

That sounds like AutoPlay, if you'd like you can disable it in Preferences. Also, if you have any Ideas on how to improve Spotify, you can share them on the Ideas board. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you out with! 🙂
