Why aren't my bluetooth headphones playing the music that I am playing?

My headphones are connected to my laptop via bluetooth, I have tried many suggested solutions, including attempting to update the drivers, uninstalling the app, clearing the cache, reconnecting my headphones, removing them as a device then reconnecting, etc. The music plays when I do not have my headphones connected to my laptop, but then as soon as my headphones connect to my laptop, it is silent.

That's quite odd. Does it only happen with that specific Bluetooth device or with any Bluetooth device? Does other audio play on the headphones or is all sound muted? In any case, consider double checking the volume mixer, it's possible Spotify volume has been set to 0 there while these headphones are connected and that can cause this behaviour.

Headset #1 stopped receiving audio. Number 2 replacement never received audio? Wired speakers work. It seems Spotify does not recognize Bluetooth connection? Using same PC Bluetooth headset it worked last year but not since Oct 24. What might have changed?
