Windows Desktop Spotify does not have the option to connect to Last.FM

I'm trying to setup scrobbling with the desktop version of Spotify, but the option doesn't exist. There is no last.fm option in my social settings. It's there on my Android device, but isn't there at all for desktop.

Is dektop scrobbling no longer supported?

The option you are searching is below the "Connect to facebook" option.

I've just disconnected both spotify playback and spotify scrobbling in the last.fm settings (https://www.last.fm/settings/applications) and only reconnected the scrobbling. It seems to work for now. I'll update soon if everything is working as intented!

It's seems the last.fm option, on desktop app, has removed on last update.

I'm on a Mac and in the Spotify desktop app there's no last.fm option anymore. The scrobbling stopped although the last.fm Scrobbler shows the tracks. I tried the tip with disconnecting and reconnecting Spotify via last.fm website but it still does not work. This is annoying...

EDIT: okay, I had to restart Spotify too – now it's scrobbling again! 🙂
