Windows app size is wrong after activating from tray

Windows app size is wrong after activating from tray

Device

PC with 3 displays - 4k(300% scale) + 1440p(100% scale) + 1440p(100% scale)

Operating System

Windows 10

My Question or Issue

After minimizing and restoring app, window size and position are wrong.
This happens ONLY if one of the monitors has scaling set to something different from 100%.

I believe there is a bug, when window size and position are calculated based on incorrect display's scaling setting.

I've tried cleaning AppData and reinstalling Spotify. But only thing that solves this isuue is setting monitor scale to 100%.

Issue was already reported here: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/App-window-not-maintaining-its-size-in-Windows-10-w...

Hey @gxcreator,

Thanks for the post.

As @Novy has said in the other thread, this is not something that can be manually adjusted from the Spotify app settings, as it depends on hardware set up.

This issue has been reported to the right teams at Spotify, but we don't have official info on when or if this will be fixed.

Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
