Wondering if there are plans to implement an equalizer for PC?

I was just wondering whether there are plans to implement an equalizer on the PC version of spotify? I really enjoy using it on my iphone to tweak the sund to my liking, but I find it a little annoying that a PC, which is a stronger/a device with more computing power (I think so atleast), but it doesn't have the equalizer. Is there a legitimate reason for not having one? And if not, why has it taken this long to have it implemented if it was on the phone. Im not trying to be rude or anything, I love spotify and pay for premium, Im just curious to why we dont have it yet.
