My Question or Issue

 so i was having some other issues with polaying songs from artist pages/song i dont have saved and after reinstalling to try and fix that issue, ALL my favorite artists/songs/ etc are gone. all my playlists are fine, and i am still following all those artists! how do i get them back?

I had this problem and I found the solution here. It worked 100% for me.

* Open your Notepad as an administrator

* Browse to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

* Select to open "All Files" and then open file "hosts"

* You should delete all lines containing "spotify" or "fastly"

* Save the file

* Close Spotify Desktop and try to open it again
