can't play songs that aren't liked or in a playlist (Windows)

Can't play any songs that aren't liked or in a playlist on spotify on my windows 11 app. If I do try to play one of those songs, nothing shows up on the current playing thing at the bottom. Also, I can't put songs on my pc from my phone, like connecting to other devices and my spotify status also doesn't show on discord.

Could you try performing a clean reinstall of the app as described here for starters? If that doesn't resolve the issue, could you try switching between the Microsoft Store version and the one from the Spotify site?

We'd also need the Spotify version number you've installed on your device.

I've reinstalled multiple times and I've also changed between microsoft store versions and website version. All that to no avail.

My current version: Spotify for Windows
1.1.95.893.g6cf4d40c
