My Question or Issue

Constantly switches to the desktop app (which I have not installed). How do I stop it from doing this?

From somewhere I have queued music by someone I have never heard of and have no interest in listening to. How do I clear the queue?

I have tried clicking "remove from queue" and this does nothing. There is no "clear" or "clear queue" button. Looking at the message boards, both of my issues seem to have been fairly constant problems with Spotify. Why has this not been fixed?

Hi there! Thanks for asking in the community.

If you think your account is logged in to a device you do not recognize , I prefer you change your password as soon as possible. This will log you out of all devices you are logged in. About clearing queue, there is a button clear queue which does exactly the same. Upon clicking, it removes all the songs in the queue. Let us know if you need more help.

Throw a like my way or mark this as a solution if I helped. ‌😊

There is no clear or clear queue button.

I do not think someone else has logged into my account. If I did, I would have changed my password.

Thank you for your reply.

Hey @mcdontosh,

Thanks for your reply.

The Clear Queue button is visible only when you've manually added a track, album or a playlist in the queue, If you don't see it, but there are tracks loaded in the queue, you can remove them by selecting them (you can press Ctrl + A to mark all songs), right-clicking on them and then clicking on Remove from queue.

We hope this info was useful. Let us know if there's anything else we can help out with.

Cheers!
