how do i get rid of this damn thing

how do i get rid of this damn overlay its on top of everything so i cant play anything or watch anything without it being in the way and its now getting me really annoyed. its not even showing stuff from my account its showing stuff from my dads!!

Could you confirm if you experience the issue after performing a clean reinstall of Spotify on your PC? This will clean up any corrupted data that could be causing what you see.  

If it persists after the clean reinstall, check the hosts file for entries that need to be deleted. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that. 

Once ready, make sure you log in to Spotify using your own account details. Check out this help page if you're not sure about your login credentials.
