i cant be able to login my spotify in desktop. whenever i try to login it shows go to your browser t

My Question or Issue 

i cant be able to login my spotify in desktop. whenever i try to login it shows to go to the browser to login but no matter how many times i click on it the browser never pops up. i read a faq earlier and it shows to set chrome as the default app, i did so but nothing happened. even though the browser popped up this time but still it shows u are not logged in. tell me the solution asap.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Consider trying the following:

  • Try the login in different browsers, not just Chrome
  • Try connecting to different networks. You can also make a hotspot from your phone
  • If you use a VPN disable it.
  • Try a normal login in the browser first, like to the account page for example, and then initiate a login from the desktop app

its not working either, i just cant login spotify on my desktop now , no matter what i do
