lots of podcasts on my home screen even though i don't listen to them

i would really rather not have half of my home screen taken up by podcasts.

Thanks for posting on the Community about this. 
 

If you get podcast recommendations without having listened to podcasts you might need to restart the Spotify app and log out and back in to your Spotify account. This will refresh your account data and update your recommendations. 

In case the issue persists, try a clean reinstall of the app in order to get the latest app version with all necessary updates.
