mp3 files downloaded from Bandcamp will not play. They're unprotected, and I have new codecs.

I have some songs from bandcamp I want to add to my playlists, and I can get them to show up in spotify, but not to actually play, instead it just skips to whatever spotify song is next. 

I've already tried installing new codecs, installing quicktime, re-downloading the files, checking if they're protected (they're not), and changing the folder the files are in. Any help on what else to try?
