no results when seraching for music

 On my windows phone when i search for music there always no result at all. Got this problem for a month. I reinstalled two times... Same problem. I cant search for an artist or a song...

thanks for posting in the community !

It seems like you have some traces of files left in your system while performing the reinstallations and should be cleaned for it to work proprely.

Let's try these steps : 

- Perform a full uninstall of the Spotify app

- Reach %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete all folders you find with the Spotify name on them (Only under the Local and Roaming folders)

- Restart your PC

- Reinstall a fresh new copy of Spotify to assure you get the latest and all cleaned out version of the app.

Thank u for your answer but...

I got a windows phone and there no folders containing files that i can delete.

I can just delete the app and reinstall it. I have already done this several time. It doesnt change anything... same problem

Same - going to be cancelling a family plan because we can't search for anything
