"Publish my activity on Spotify" not working

For the last couple days, my Spotify desktop app hasn't been publishing any activity to any followers. However, it does publish listening history on mobile. Private session has already been disabled, and "Publish activity" is on.

yeah same my activity is not shown to my friends on desktop or mobile even though publish my activity is on and im not in private session

This is an ongoing issue.

Spotify's staff seems to be working on this already. There is athread about it here, the issue has been tracked for a few weeks already but there is no solution yet. You can follow the linked thread for updates on this problem.

I think the new spotify update fixed the problem! Let me know if it's fixed for you too.
