I know this sounds obvious, but would you mind restarting your device and performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here?

Could you also try listening to music on a different network connection? It might be a connection problem.

If none of these work, could you provide us with your current Spotify version? You can find this in the three-dots menu (top-left corner) > Help > About Spotify.
