shuffle turns itself off after skipping a song

since a few weeks my spotify desktop client turn the shuffle function off after skipping a song manually. I tried a few things myself first:

• completely remove spotify dekstop client (also remaining appdata files and such)
• skip the song through another device via spotify connect

Both of these options turned out to not resolve this problem.

I don't know whether I'm alone whith this problem. I hope it's resolved soon since I really appreciate the shuffle function.

If there is anyone who can help me, just ask! also log files and such; I'm happy to provide them, I don't know the location of those so if needed just tell me where to find them and I'll upload them.

today I also tried to see if it is also happening on my OSX machine. And it doesn't work either on mac OSX.
