Hey there @V0ID42

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!

First up, we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in twice in a row. We know this sounds odd, but that'll trigger a sync between your account and device.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you let us know if you're using any VPNs? If so, we'd recommend turning it off since it can affect the app's performance.

Lastly, make sure to remove hosts file. Head here to find out how.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

hi there Eni

i have tried logging out twice and nothing happened, i looked at the hosts file and the file did not contain spotify, and i do not use a VPN

Hey @V0ID42,

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

At the moment, it's possible to download the app from both the Microsoft Store and our Web page here. So in this case, if you install the desktop app from the web page, try to uninstall that version and try installing the one from the Microsoft one or vice versa. Let us know how it goes.

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version your running on your computer? Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.

Lastly, can you please try running the app in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking to rule out any issues with your default Windows settings and basic device drivers? Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Keep us in the loop!
