sportify stops responding randomly windows 11, music keeps playing

I have had this happened couple times on windows spotify app. I'm listening to songs and flipping through songs just fine and one of a sudden the desktop app wont respond to anything, the current song keeps playing. I close the program and the song keeps playing. If try to close spotify with ctrl+alt+del i cant find it. when the song it got stuck on ends no other song comes next but still i cant open spotify again. then i pressed the speaker icon on the bottom right in windows 11 and after that spotify worked like it should.

Does the described issue still persist? If so, could you perform a clean reinstall of the app as described here?

Also try switching the download source of the app to the Microsoft store or the Spotify download page.
