spotify will not play anything at all?

My Question or Issue

 My Spotify has been having a problem where I have to reinstall it all the time so it'll play songs not in my playlist, which isn't a problem for me really as it's a quick reinstall. This time, I decided to use a different uninstaller than the Windows uninstaller and now it doesn't even work at all! It's very annoying and I really want this fixed. If anyone has a fix, please help me. All it'll show is local files in my playlists, and if I turn on a song, it does the before-mentioned "won't play".

This issue is reported by some other users as well, this seems to be an issue specific to desktop client. There is a solution suggested by another user here. Can you give it a try and let me know if it works? Thanks in advance 🙂
