why can't spotify download tracks/ takes too long to download something?

Every time I attempt to download a playlist, it never downloads it, or does in a very long time, it also never display how much songs I have left to download

Thanks for posting in the Community.

It's worth trying a clean reinstall of the app as described here. This will get rid of corrupted cached files.

Also check your internet connection or try switching it for a bit, e.g. with a mobile data one.

If the issue persists afterwards, we'd need the brand/model and operating system of your device.
