LISTENING TO 1000 ALBUMS

I consider myself pretty decently knowledgeable when it comes to music. I'm basically glued to headphones all day and part of my job description is curating music and making playlist. However, ive always struggled with know which songs came with with album or what label certain albums were released from. I saw this girl on tiktok that was listening to 1000 artists in a year and her list was based off of rolling stone as well as 1001. And thats when i went "I could totally do that" and now im here. 

Ive decided that i going to be listening to 1000 albums to further grow my musical knowledge.

Of course ive made lists of my own but i'd love any recommendations you have. I'm open and every little bit helps. They can be small artist or massive bands. All Genres are welcome!

I also have a playlist that i update once a month with songs that ive been really digging the month prior and im sure some songs from the albums will make it on. I'll attach it if anyone is curious!

That is quite the challenge you're taking up! I can't say I'd do it myself, but this does sound like a fantastic way to branch out and find something you never knew you liked. Like this year I've been listening to King Crimson for the first time, and not only am I in love, but I'm inspired too for my music. I started to using Brass instruments a lot more on my songs because of it. Speaking of my songs though, I was wondering if you'd consider adding my song to that challenge?
