I want to share with you these two artists who will be releasing new music this week. 

New York-based singer and songwriter Amy-Lin Slezak has been on a constant rise on the folk/country scene, and after a fun piece on love and memory with “Known 3 Yrs. Seen 24 Hrs” she’s back with her next single. “You Don’t Believe Her”(due out December 04th), however, is a sharp turn for the American artist and sees her dealing with the serious issue of abuse and how social media is quick to comment and judge on sexual assault survivors. It’s an emotional piece that highlights Amy-Lin’s vulnerable and universal songwriting, coloured by alternative country dynamics reminiscent of Hurray for the Riff Raff or Waxahatchee.

After a remarkable run of singles that started with “ADHD” in April 2024, American five-piece post-hardcore band Bury the Pines unleashes their full-length debut Industry Plant. The record came to life organically and with little ambition, the band themselves say that they originally set out to record an EP that ended up growing into a proper full album – but you wouldn’t be able to tell that from the music itself. Industry Plant (due out December 05th), is a glorious illustration of a band at their creative peak, hopping from pop punk and emo to hardcore and progressive rock with incredible ease and, well, ambition.
