Cannot login / finalize my registration :( Need help.

Hello!

I'm using my friend's account to ask this question.

I registered weeks ago with my email address, picked a user name and chose a password.
After that I couldn't download the software because of a broken laptop and postponed it until yesterday.

Yesterday, I installed it but couldn't login or finalize my registration.
The notification says that an error occurred and that I am supposed to try again later.

This hasn't been working for two days. So I tried to reset my password. I received an email to my email address that showed the user name that I picked (so apparently user name and email address are linked to each other) and a reset link. And when I click on it, it says:

"Seems this took a while. You have been logged out for security reasons, please click the reset link in the email you recieved again to continue."

This doesn't work either! Can you help me? I would like to use my email address and the user name I picked.

I hope you can help me! I really don't know what to do.
