Cannot subscribe to premuim

I try to upgrade to premium it gives me this message: Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. I checked the troubleshooting help page and it was none of the problems listed there. I tried to use both paypal and just credit card which is the same one for paypal account and the result is the same. I have successfully purchased spotify premium in the past with the same credit card I am trying to use at the moment. I have been trying to upgrade for four days now and it always gives me the same message.

I have exactly the same problem.Spotify unsubscribed me more than a week ago because of what it said was a failed or pending credit card payment. My bank says there is nothing wrong with my credit card, it expires next year and I have lots of credit. Now when I try to subscribe I get the "Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day" mesage. I have been on premium for more than two years - now all I can get is the free service. Very frustrating.
