Desktop App cannot log in ..

Desktop App cannot log in ..

I registered with spotify and decided to download the desktop application.

After installation it asked for [account name] + [password]

After entering I get error code 3 which says I don't exist. 

Seeing as how the account name a password are required to log in to the web page it is obvious that I m getting this message in error.

Furthermore there is no 'help' or  'register' link on the log in page.

On the other hand my android phone has no difficulty playing music via spotify, so I know my account is set up properly.

 

On top of that, because I am in Mexico, all gthe web pages are in Spanish, so there is the annoyance of having to learn a language in order to navigate the web pages as I can find no setting for 'language preference.'

Hi @Efaferal,

 

Please try using your username instead of username@email.com when logging in and let me know if it works!
