Email fraud

Solved!

Email fraud

I've had a series of emails over the past two weeks, suggesting that my payment details are not working and that I need to upgrade them to continue spotify premium. Today I was sent an email saying my premium account was now paused.  However, when I login to my spotify acount, it seems as if everyhting is ok and I have a receipt for the last payment, projected date for the next, my account details are all fine, and I still have premium.  I guess, the emails to my account looked so real, I'm nnot sure if this is your common or garden attempt to extract bank details, though with better design, or whether this was something else (e.g. for some wierd reason I really am about to lose my account status)?

Hi there! I recommend reaching out directly to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Cheers!
