Exchange student - don't have a usa credit card

I'm am an exchange student and have only a foreign credit card, but now after 7 months living here I can't use Spotify anymore, because now they only accept a usa credit card for people located in the usa.

Yes, you're right. Due to legal rights you need to have a valid credit card from the country you're currently living in. You might use another payment method (if it's available in your country), however, student discount is only elibible with credit card.
