Fraud Account Cancellation Emails

Hello,

Lately i've been recieving emails regarding my spotify account that tells me thar my subscribtion has faild and I need to fill in my account details. It looks quite realistic but, if you study the sender you can see that it's somthing fishy going on. I've also checked my Spotify subscription and it's fine.

Just want to give other a heads up that this type of email is out there! DON'T CLICK!

Hey there, thanks for reaching out in the community!

This does indeed look fishy. Do not respond to the suspicious email please.

As mentioned in the link above, please take the following steps:

1. Forward the entire email to spoof@spotify.com
   • You can add a note or a question but, please, do not alter the Subject or the Body of the email. 
   • Please do not forward the email as an attachment. 
   • Don’t click any links or download any attachments in the email. 
   • Our team will investigate and let you know if the email is legtimate.
2. Delete the suspicious email from your inbox. 

If you’ve entered any personal details via the links in the suspicious email, please follow these steps:

1. Change your Spotify password here.
2. Change your password on any other sites where you use the same password.
3. Contact your bank if you think your financial details have been compromised.
