How to transfer playlists in family plan

Hello.  I just upgraded my account to a family plan.  Now I am trying to move a million of minecraft playlists my son created to his profile.  However, I can't seem to find a ggod way to do that.  Here are the steps I took:

1) I'm logged in as him on the desktop and as myself on the web player.

2) On the desktop, I followed my own profile to get access to the playlists.

3) All my playlists showed up, but only a couple of his, the rest were private.

4) I made them all public, but even after restarting the desktop app they are still not showing up in my profile, si I can't follow them.

Is there an easier way to do that?  How long will it be before the lists become public?  If my son follows them and I dlete them in my account, will they remain in his?

Thanks!

Luka
