Next day charge with premium trial??

I love spotify and was excited to try the 3 month trial and assumed I would make a permanent transition after trying it out, but immediately after paying I saw a note on my account saying that I would be billed $9.99 tomorrow?? This is a very devious marketing ploy. I cancelled my subscription. Lost a dollar but I guess I saved $10... 😞
