Other devices are showing up in my account - "continue playback on (device I don't own)?"

Over the last week, Spotify has been active on my Android phone even when I didn't start the app.

When this occurs, I've seen the following messages:

• "Continue playback on Karen's iPod?"
• "Continue playback on DOME-PC?"

The issue is that I don't own either of these devices. 

if I clicked "continue" or "play here" it wouldn't matter. A few minutes later the app would continue as active and the same message would appear.  I thought maybe it was somehow trying to connect to a device somewhere nearby, but when I drove 40 miles to work, I would get the same message.

Additionally,the playback was active and it wasn't music I would listen to. 

TL-DR - my spotify is somehow being accessed without my permission.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

It sounds rather like an annoying little person somewhere has decided to utilise your Spotify account for their music 😛

You can sign out everywhere from your account overview.

It's then a good idea to reset your password so they can't login again.

Once you've done that, gimme a shout if it persists.

Hi Anthony,

thanks for the feedback. That was my original thought as well, but it would
have to be someone I don't know.
I know the PC & device names of my family, so somehow my account was being
accessed by an unknown party.

I did remove all devices & changed the password, so hopefully that will
make a difference.

I had the same issue today.

Unfortunately, I signed up with Facebook and therefore cannot change my password it seems.

Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue further?  It keeps occuring even after I reset my Facebook password and Sign everyone out (via Account).
