So my spotify account isn't merged with my Facebook account properly?

I've recently made a stand-alone spotify account and decided to connect with with my Facebook, I thought everything was fine until I realized it wasn't properly connected. Whenever I click my profile on mobile it won't show my updated Facebook profile and or Facebook name, it's really ticking me off! It won't even publish music I'm listening to on Facebook or even when I follow Facebook friends on spotify, it'd say I'm following them on my old stand-alone account rather than my facebook merged one. I'm not sure if I have to wait because it takes time to merge into Facebook or either it's an error! I really need help it's driving me off the wall!
