In order to get the 30 day free trial for Spotify Premium, I needed to enter my credit card information, but when I filled it in, I was told they weren't able to verify my credit card. I don't have any other credit card or billing information registered on Spotify because I've never used anything but Spotify Free. What's wrong?

What kind of credit card is it you're using? Does it meet all of the requirements outlined in this FAQ?

Does your card meet all of the requirements outlined in this help page?
Also, to verify your card exists, Spotify will charge the card $0.00 some banks/issuers block that payment for security reasons meaning the verification fails.
