Spotify will not play because it says that I'm signed on on another device?

Hello! I've been getting an error message that says that Spotify cannot be played on this device because I'm logged onto another device. I know for sure that I'm not logged onto any other device at the time when I'm trying to play it.

For example, I tried playing it on my Sonos and got the error message. My laptop was shut down, spotify on my phone was off and I do not share my account with anyone else. Why am I getting this error message and what can I do about it? It doesn't allow me to play my music!

Sign into this page and at the bottom left click on "sign out everywhere"

https://www.spotify.com/accounts/overview/

This will log you out of all your apps and you'll have to log in again, but it may solve the problem.

If you still have trouble,

I suggest you contact support so they can take a look at your account and see what is causing the problem:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
