Won't let me make a playlist public.

I want to make my 'starred playlist' public. It gives me the option to but It always stays private? Is there anyway to keep it public and is there a reason why I'm having problems with this. I have been trying to make it public for aslong as I've had it (over a year) and it's getting very frustrating. Please help!

Hello and welcome to the Spotify community, 

The "starred playlist" is a little abnormal. I could be wrong, but I believe it was pretty much an early attempt at what is now "Your Music". So unfortunately you cannot make the "starred playlist" public.

What you can do is move all of the songs in your "starred playlist" into a new one and then make that playlist public. You can do this really quickly by quickly selecting all the songs in the playlist and then dragging them into a new playlist all at once.

To do this just select the first song hit your "shift" button and then hold down the "down arrow" until all the songs are selected and then you will be able to drag them all at once.
