Bluetooth A2DP issue?

Bluetooth A2DP issue?

Hi

Whenever I use bluetooth headphones I have to manually press next to play the next track. With bluetooth off all tracks play with no problem. Why is that?

I have a Sony MW600 bluetooth.

Sounds like it is a Bluetooth connection issue. When my Bluetooth battery gets too low, then it stops working. Try recharging it, and then reconfigure it to your device. That's just what works for my kinovo Bluetooth.
Hope that helps!

BT works on mine OK. Make sure you have no conflicting apps installed such as JAYS Headset control which is known to block the relevant signals.

Battery is full and there is no conflicting apps. Please advise.

Everything is working and I can hear the audio via bluetooth its just that I have to manually press the next/play button to play the next track instead of spotify playing it for me.

Bump anyone?

Can you try with some wired headphones? If that works I suspect it's something to do with the headphone control. What headphones are you using?

Ignore that last question, I see you already have the answer.

Random thought... Can you try disabling your stock music player?

Yes via Wired Headphones or through phone speakers it works fine however when using the Sony MW600 bluetooth I get the problem. Why is that?

Can you try disabling the stock music player as suggested? Also do you have another BT headset you can try with... be it a car stereo or a friends?

I have Amazon Fire Phone. Is this a common bluetooth spotify problem on amazon fire phones? Fire phone uses same operating system as android.

Can fire phone users share their experiences with spotify via bluetooth.

Update:

I have to enable gapless playback and play in sequential order instead of random/shuffle for it to work.

What does this tell us?
