Spotify won't work with my LG phone, or my iPad

Everytime I open up Spotify on my Android phone, it makes me sign in. Then it goes to the What's New screen for 1 or 2 seconds, and shuts off (goes back my android home screen), and if I start over it keeps doing the same thing.

On my iPad, all I get is a blank screen with some icons down the left side that don't do anything.

Why won't it work?

On the android, make sure you have the current facebook app installed and try again. Hopefully someone else will be able to help with your ipad.

Downloading a new copy helped on my phone, but it still doesn't work on my iPad. I am still getting a blank screen with a row of icons down the left side, that don't do anything when yoiu click on them.
