[Mac]local files not loading

I have tried different methods such as restarting the app, restarting my computer, relink the folder in the local file preference
Still it is not loading and showing this
I even remove spotify and reinstalled from a new download from spotify's website

I have had exactly the same problem for about a month now, for the last two updates or so. Prior to that update, in the previous one the list loaded, but only a fraction of my total files (if I sorted them by artist name, it would be cut short after artists beginning with 'K').

I am running on a 15" MacBook Pro running the lated version of OSX.

Please fix this problem, it severely limits my experience and that of several other users with the same problem and, to be perfectly honest, seamless integration with the iTunes library interface is tempting me to give Apple Music a serious try once it launches.
