Package will not update for Spotify Linux

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit and Spotify version 0.9.11.26.g99Sec043. An update notice came through on my system and when I went to update it, this is the error message I received:

"E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/repository.spotify.com_dists_stable_non-free_i18n_Translation-en%%5fUS, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened."

This error will not allow me to update Spotify nor my system until this is resolved.

I followed the instructions posted in the threads and (temporarily) resolved my issue until the repository redirect issue with Spotify is resolved.

Try it again now. The repo is back online. You may have to remove and then re-add the repo.
