UPDATE from Matt Suda (Community Rock Star):

 

This should now be fixed! Thanks for your patience. 

 

Selecting: Browse -> Genres/Moods -> Any genre/mood -> No playlists 

 

Tried restarting. Happens on a friends Mac too (same versions). However, it doesn't happen on my iPhone Spotify. 

 

Mac OS 10.10.1. Spotify: 0.9.15.27.g87efe634 Region: UK

Hey guys!

 

I've merged all the threads about this into one so it's easier to track.

 

I've passed this bug report on to Spotify. As soon as I have more information about this problem, I'll be sure to update you guys here.

Sorry for a basic question but after selecting a Mood on my Mac, I can't ever figure out which mood I selected to pick again next time...

I have the same problem but im on a PC with Windows 8.1. Spotify Version: 0.9.15.27.g87efe634 Region: Switzerland

Same issue - Genres and Moods are not displaying anything. 

 

Selecting: Browse -> Genres & Moods -> Focus

Tried selecting multiple items and all returned same result. 

I have the same issue -- also on a Mac. It only started after I updated my OS to 10.10.1.

Same here with Win 8.1. It happens in the webplayer as well.

The problem started today. 

It seems to be working just fine on my Moto G.

 

Weird.

I'm running OSX 10.7.5 with the desktop client.  When Browsing Genre&Mood playlists no content exists in these playlists now.  Before it always did.  Additionally on my Iphone 6 with latest IOS the Spotify client clearly shows all content of the Genre&Mood playlists.  This has nothing to do with my account.   It appears to be OSX 10.7.5 specific. 

 

Any way to fix this?

 

Experiencing same issue on OS X 10.9.5. Chrome and Firefox affected.

I can't find anything on the boards about this, and it just started today. In the desktop add, I simply go to Moods/Genres, select one, and then all i get is a blank list. they are all gone! Anyone able to help? I'm baffled.

What's up with this Spotify? I've reloaded and tried to see if it was a problem with my browser, but no. Any fixes?

same here, no Playlist in Genres and Stimmungen (moods) I can see the moods like pop, chillout, konzentration, schlaf, but not a single playlist 😞

It's not working for me yet. Still no playlists available. Pretty much everything I click on under "Browse" isn't working.

This is happening with me as well, very annoying.

 

Was actually thinking of Upgrading my account, but episodes like this still push me away from paying for streaming content. Too many bugs. 

Closed mine for a while and now it's working.

I'm using the Spotify Premium Mac desktop app.  When I click Browse -> Genres & Moods, the choices are displayed but when clicking one the resulting screen is blank.  This used to work but is suddenly broken.  Please help!  

 

I am running OS X Yosemite and using Spotify version 0.9.15.27.g87efe634.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logging in/out, hasn't worked.  My iPhone app works fine.  I have attached a screenshot.
